This A list mostly movie actor from multiple franchises and not named Ryan has never really had anything positive to say about his kids.

However, lately, you can tell in his interviews he really wishes he didn’t have any kids.

It is probably because they keep him with his wife who he really wants to leave.

Ben Stiller

In his upcoming documentary “Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost”, which looks back at his childhood and the relationship between his parents Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara—the Zoolander star also detailed his own journey as a father, which included some though conversations with his and wife Christine Taylor’s children Ella Stiller, 23, and Quin Stiller, 20.

Ben Stiller’s latest documentary turns the spotlight back on his own home, and the reviews from his kids aren’t sugar-coated.

In Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost, the actor’s son, Quin, admits his dad often disappeared into work and “put a damper on the fun,” while daughter Ella confessed she “can’t ever remember” him being around growing up.

Ben, now 59, says those comments hit hard. He thought he was doing better than his own famous parents, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, by flying home on weekends and finding special moments on set — but realized too late his kids felt the same absence he once did.

He later admitted, “I probably f–ked up more with my kids than my parents did,” reflecting that being a father often came last behind his career.

After his 2017 split from wife Christine Taylor — and their later pandemic reconciliation — Ben says the family has learned to repair and move forward. Their bond, he adds, is “not perfect, but that’s just life.”
