Faith, fashion, and felony charges
Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo is keeping her chin high after her recent arrest.
Days after she and husband Eddie Osefo were hit with multiple insurance fraud counts, Wendy returned to Instagram in a dramatic black gown, captioning her post, “And through it all, GOD remains faithful.” She thanked fans for their love and prayers, adding that her family was “forever grateful”… before plugging the next RHOP episode.
Eddie shared a family photo with a Bible verse about trusting God, but behind the calm posts, the allegations are anything but peaceful.
The couple claimed a $450,000 loss after reporting a home burglary while on vacation in Jamaica. Investigators, however, say things didn’t add up – neighbors questioned the story, Wendy was seen wearing one of the “stolen” rings, and many of the supposedly missing designer items had been refunded before the alleged break-in.
Both were booked earlier this month and freed on $100,000 bail. Wendy faces 16 charges, Eddie 18, including multiple felonies.
Their rep insists they’re “home and in good spirits,” but fans couldn’t ignore Wendy’s old Bonnie and Clyde-style Instagram post — shared the same day she reported the theft.
