‘I saw it’: Russell Crowe ‘spat at’ Azealia Banks during infamous Beverly Hills Hotel altercation in 2016, says Wu-Tang Clan member and eyewitness RZA

Last year, Russell Crowe removed rapper Azealia Banks from a gathering in his Beverly Hills Hotel suite, after eyewitnesses alleged she made violent threats.

Now, one of those eyewitnesses – Wu-Tang Clan member RZA, has corroborated the rapper’s claim that the Australian actor ‘spat’ at her during the incident.

‘Look, he spat at her, I saw that,’ RZA admitted to American radio show Breakfast Club this week.
But after defending Russell in a Facebook post shortly after the incident last year, he continued to do so in Monday’s interview.

‘He spit at her, not on her,’ RZA clarified, demonstrating a spit for the interviewer that was mostly aimed at the ground.

He claimed that by spitting in her direction, Russell was trying to tell Azealia ‘this is what you are [spit].’ – Source
