As recent statements come to light from years ago about this reality family and child sex abuse, it shouldn’t surprise you, they just see it as fact.

Whether it is the “older” generation who championed it for themselves or the younger generation who were sexually abused as children while the parents rebuffed any criticism about it allowing it to happen.

Complicit.

Supportive.

A natural thing to happen they would say.

Jill Duggar Reveals Sick Reason Josh’s Abuse Went Unnoticed By Parents

It’s sad, but undeniably true:

The more we hear about the rules and regulations that governed life in the Duggar household, the less we’re surprised by the abuse that was allowed to take place under Michelle and Jim Bob’s watch.

When deployed properly, rules can be an invaluable tool for teaching children discipline and, more importantly, keeping them safe.

In the Duggar home, however?

Rules were used primarily to maintain a corrupt power structure, with church leaders at the top and parents close behind, followed by a strict sibling hierarchy with the oldest kids in charge.

As we’ve discussed in the past, the Duggars used a “buddy system” to make life in a house with 19 children more manageable. – Source

Michelle Duggar Slammed By Fans: What Does She Do All Day?!

It may seem absurd to question how a mother of 19 keeps herself busy all day, but many fans of the Duggar family are doing exactly that.

Especially with much of her brood leaving the nest, matriarch Michelle Duggar doesn’t appear to have a whole to keep her occupied.

If you watch Counting On online, you know that Michelle seems to spend the bulk of her time teasing her hair and speaking very softly. – Read more

Fans Slam the Duggars for Promoting a Pastor That Allegedly Encourages Child Abuse

The Duggar clan has landed themselves in hot water once again. It was just a few months ago that fans were worried Jill and Derick Dillard were using blanket training — a controversial method promoted by No Greater Joy Ministries‘ pastor Michael Pearl and his wife Debi. Now, fans are lashing out after the Duggars posted a link on their Facebook page encouraging others to join them at Fort Rock Family Camp — a retreat in which the Pearls are also set to attend.

The Pearls published their book To Train Up a Child — Child Training for the 21st Century, where they encourage physical punishment to teach children how to behave. “This makes me so sad. The Pearls literally promote hitting babies, actual babies,” one person wrote. “They are child abusers. Why you would promote their evil and cruel practices is mind boggling.” Another added, “Please stop promoting the Pearls! I know your family thinks he’s teaching biblical discipline but he’s absolutely wrong. Don’t let your love of Jesus blind you to this.”

In the Pearls’ guide, they instruct mothers to pull their infant’s hair if the baby accidentally bites while breastfeeding; other methods include spanking and withholding food. In 2011, The New York Times reported that three children had died, “allegedly at the hands of parents who kept the Pearls’ book.”

“The Pearls are monsters. They are truly evil. No one, no one, in their right minds would ever condone beating a baby. It is appalling and disgusting that you guys endorse the Pearls or utilized their ‘methods’. No one, no one, who loves babies and children would do this to them,” another commenter stated. “I can’t even…I mean, just reading excerpts from that monstrosity of a book made me nauseated. I hugged my girls tighter after reading those little bits.” – Source
