Oil heir Brandon Davis brokered Petra Ecclestone $150m mansion deal ‘on same night he was arrested for drug possession’
He is more well known for drunken nights out and his string of relationship with Hollywood It girls.
But oil heir and playboy Brandon Davis was apparently the mastermind behind one of the biggest real estate deals in Hollywood history.
Davis, 31, who has the nickname Greasy Bear, was instrumental in the sale of Candy Spelling’s $150million mansion that she had been trying to sell for over two years, it has emerged.
The house, which is the biggest in Los Angeles, has been sold to Formula One mogul Bernie Ecclestone’s daughter Petra, who is just 22-years-old.
According to TMZ, Davis was at a Hollywood nightclub with Petra on April 27 where she let it be known that she was in the market to purchase a huge house in LA.
Brandon, who has been a long term friend with Paris Hilton, then connected Petra with the socialite’s father who has a well-established real estate firm.
Sources have told the U.S. website that Rick made a deal with Brandon to give him a $250,000 finder’s fee if he was able to sell a mansion to Petra.
Rick apparently showed Petra, Fleur de Lys, which is another huge mansion in the Holmby Hills enclave which houses several super-deluxe homes for the mega-rich.- Source
Petra Ecclestone puts her house on the market for £100m just days after sister Tamara’s £70m home was raided for jewellery while family was on holiday
Petra Ecclestone has put her Chelsea mansion up for sale just days after her sister Tamara’s home in Kensington was targeted in a £50 million raid.
The Formula One heiress, 31, bought the 14-bedroom London property in 2012, moving in with her then-partner James Stunt for around £60 million and is now understood to be asking for more than £100 million for it.
The mother-of-three purchased the house from Lord Bamford, chairman of JCB, before spending a further £25 million on renovations.
However, after an acrimonious and explosive split with businessman Stunt in 2017, Ms Ecclestone moved to Los Angeles, where she spends most of her time, only occasionally visiting London to see her billionaire father Bernie.
She said she relocated her family to Los Angeles as she no longer felt safe at her luxury London home.
She added that talking to other parents about rising levels of crime on the UK’s streets helped convince her to move stateside with her children.
Her decision to put her Chelsea mansion on the market comes after sister Tamara’s home in Kensington was targeted by thieves last Friday.
An estimated £50 million of valuable jewelry was stolen with the gang of three burglars inside the house for 50 minutes.
