Ant Anstead has reportedly been crashing at the lavish Laguna Beach estate of Julia “Jules” French, a 36-year-old cycling instructor in the midst of a high-profile divorce, while girlfriend Renée Zellweger films in New York.
Although Anstead’s rep insists he’s simply using a detached guesthouse and that the two are just “friends,” sources suggest there’s been a flirty vibe between the TV host and French—whose child attends the same school as Anstead’s son, Hudson.
Insiders also claim Anstead is facing financial trouble, including bankruptcy and lawsuits tied to his supercar business. His rental home is gone, and he’s now looking for a new place to stay.
As for Zellweger, who’s reportedly not ready to live together, she’s filming Only Murders in the Building and remaining silent.
