Apparently that magazine that likes to list rich people, didn’t realize the restaurant chain they touted this morning in an article as an up and coming empire, shut down on of their five locations last night without any notice.

Ayesha Curry’s Houston restaurant abruptly shuts down

HOUSTON — The Houston restaurant co-owned by Ayesha Curry has abruptly shut down.

Ayesha is the wife of NBA star Stephen Curry, a three-time champion and two-time MVP. Ayesha has developed fame of her own with her cookbooks and shows.

International Smoke was one of five locations in the country, also co-owned by celebrity chef Michael Mina, who runs a restaurant empire under the Mina Group.

Several people are shocked to find it closed, including one viewer who said he had a reservation for an event there this week.

The restaurant was faced with trolling Houston Rockets fans before it opened.

Vinit D from Houston wrote, “This is absolutely the worst place to go — her husband ripped our hearts out and now she has the guts to open up a place here? I would never set foot in this place even if it was the last place on earth.”

He added a little extra to the review saying, “P.S. this restaurant is full of snakes.”

As of Tuesday night, the reason for the Houston restaurant’s closing was not disclosed.- Source

A Look Inside Ayesha Curry’s Budding Culinary Empire

In an early December Instagram post, Ayesha Curry announced that she and her husband, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, had gotten matching tattoos to symbolize their three children: a unicorn for 7-year-old Riley; a butterfly representing 4-year-old Ryan; and a wolf for 16-month-old Canon.

Had Curry wanted to, she could have taken the beautiful gesture even further. In fact, no one would have batted an eye had she gotten a goat inked onto her skin in honor of Steph, the man who many NBA experts consider the greatest long-range shooter of all-time.

And if she weren’t being modest, Curry could have asked for a bull, a horse or some other animal that epitomizes hard work for herself. The celebrity effortlessly stars in the role of mother, wife, TV personality, model, product pitchwoman, chef and one of the world’s biggest basketball fans.

To make things even more impressive, Curry, a Toronto native who moved to North Carolina in her early teens, will soon open her fifth International Smoke restaurant with chef extraordinaire Michael Mina — this time at Las Vegas’ famed MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. – Source
