This (former back in the day A+ list mostly movie actress) sneered while looking at (this A list celebrity/athlete):

“What is SHE doing here?

Are they stooping that low now? This is supposed to be for elite professionals in our craft.”

The lady beside her (A-/B+ list mostly movie actress from an acting family who is also an Oscar nominee/winner) looked as if she wanted to crawl under something and hide.

When I complimented her on her dress and her ‘date’ for the night, she said with a very sheepish grimace:

“You’re welcome to take my place if you want”.

Don’t think it was her idea for the PR reunion.
