This former A+ list mostly television actor through inheritance more than acting ability turned A- list sexual assault supporter talks a really big game about stopping sexual trafficking. Turns out he is just all talk though as evidenced by a charitable board he is on supposedly devoted to stopping sexual trafficking.

No money has been given by that foundation to stop trafficking.

Probably not a surprise given his support of sexual assaulters and the stories that emerged and a whole lot more that would come out if a certain someone was still alive.

Trial To Begin For ‘Hollywood Ripper’, Alleged Killer Of Ashton Kutcher’s Girlfriend

February 21, 2001. Grammys night. U2’s Beautiful Day won the ‘Best Song’ accolade. LA was abuzz: those on guest-lists were hamming it up for the paparazzi at after-parties around the city, while those who dreamed of seeing their name in lights were watching on TV at bars, or at parties in friends’ lounge rooms. And elsewhere in the City of Angels, a young woman met her gruesome death. Ashley Ellerin was a part-time stripper and fashion student. She was killed in her home sometime before 10.30pm that night. Given that there were an estimated 15,980 murders in America that year, we would probably never have heard of Ellerin’s name or tragic death, if it weren’t for one factor – her boyfriend at the time was Ashton Kutcher.

At the time of his girlfriend’s murder, Kutcher had just gotten his first taste of success. The year before, he’d appeared alongside slapstick comic Sean William Scott in the eye-roll-inducing film, Dude, Where’s My Car?, and his regular role on sitcom That 70s Show, was earning him heartthrob status among the teenage-girl market. He was 23. He was making money. He had zero worries.

Kutcher had been introduced to Ellerin through a mutual friend and while things were reasonably casual, the pair was often seen at LA’s hotspots together.
The night of the murder

According to Kutcher’s statement to LAPD’s Detective Thomas Shevolek the day after the murder, Ellerin had called him the afternoon before her death, to see if she might be able to watch the Grammys with him at his friends’ home. He had said no, but promised her that he would come by to her bungalow and see her after the award show. When the show wrapped, Kutcher tried to phone Ellerin twice. She didn’t pick up. Assuming she was annoyed with him for not extending the invitation to his friends’ Grammys gathering, he drove over to her home – just behind the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Sunset Strip – to make peace. It was around 10.45pm. When he got there, all of the house lights were on, and Ellerin’s maroon BMW was parked in the driveway. He banged on the door, but there was no answer.

Kutcher said he then peered through a side window and saw what he thought to be red wine spilled on the floor. He assumed Ellerin had had a couple of drinks, and, still annoyed with him, had taken herself off to bed. He got in his car and drove home.

What Kutcher couldn’t see through the side window was Ellerin’s body, which lay slumped in the hallway by the bathroom, just out of view. She had been stabbed 35 times.

Ellerin’s flatmate, Justin Peterson, discovered her body the next morning. – Source
