This closeted former A list actor who had a chance to take over a franchise and blew it and does have a role in another has been fighting with his long time boyfriend.

This boyfriend knows all and the actor can’t treat him like he treated someone else in his life and expect to get away with it.

This is the stuff you want to see break wide open.

Jeremy Renner
Mission: Impossible, Avengers

Jeremy Renner isn’t in the new Mission: Impossible because he was busy not being in Infinity War

Jeremy Renner has had an unusual year. And we’re not just saying that because the guy broke both of his arms filming a movie where grown men play tag, although that might be part of it.

No, the other unusual aspect of his 2018 was Renner’s complete absence from not just one, but two of the biggest film franchises on the planet in which he’s been a core member for the past couple films. First it was a bunch of Marvel fans wondering “Where’s Hawkeye?” when Avengers: Infinity War came out. And now that it’s clear he’s not in Mission: Impossible—Fallout either—something we’ve known for a while, but hey, with how cameos go these days, you never know—people are wondering where the hell he actually was all this time. So Digital Spy decided to ask M:I—Fallout director Christopher McQuarrie, who assures us that it really was the actor’s commitment to Marvel that kept Renner out of Tom Cruise’s latest attempt to get himself killed:

At the time, when the movie started, we didn’t really have a screenplay, so it was very difficult for us to say who would be in the movie for how long and on what days, and he had a commitment to Marvel. So there was just simply no predicting. If we had a finished script, we would have been able to say, “Yes, this will work and we can let you go for this time,” but there was just no predicting what those roles were going to turn out to be. It was just an unfortunate case of bad timing. – Source

The double life of Jeremy Renner

Jeremy Renner is one of Hollywood’s most popular and prolific actors, having landed two Oscar nominations and a coveted role in the Avengers movies in just over five years. Unfortunately, he’s not immune to controversy, however, not for the reasons you might expect. Yes, there’s some messy relationship stuff that’s lead to Renner’s personal life playing out like catnip for the press, but the Marvel hero has also gone viral many times for all the wrong reasons.

Jeremy Renner’s divorce seemed pretty rough

In December 2014, it was reported that Jeremy Renner’s marriage to Sonni Pacheco was ending after only 10 months. From the get-go, the divorce proceedings showed signs that things were about to get pretty ugly. According to court documents obtained by E! News, Pacheco — who has a daughter, Ava, with Renner — demanded that Renner “immediately return [her] stolen passport, birth certificate, social security card and be restrained from making further efforts to conceal same.” She also wanted the couple’s prenup to be invalidated due to “fraud.”

Court papers filed in March 2015, and later obtained by The Wrap, shed further light on the couple’s apparently messy marriage. In the papers, Renner alleged that Pacheco “exercises bad judgment” and once left their daughter at home “without any supervision for fifteen minutes.”

Fortunately for Renner, the couple’s divorce was settled less than a month after his statements to the court hit the press. As part of the settlement, the couple got joint legal and physical custody of Ava, according to People. Renner was also ordered to pay $13,000 a month in child support.

Things got awkward with Jeremy Renner’s wife and their roomate

Incidentally, Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco’s brief marriage played out a little like Three’s Company. The reason: their home included a roommate, Kristoffer Winters, whom The Hollywood Reporter described as Renner’s “live-in business partner” and whom Renner described as “my brother” in a 2012 profile. Winters wound up playing a key role in Renner’s divorce from Pacheco by providing pretty damning testimony against Renner’s now-ex-wife.

“On approximately eight additional occasions at our Franklin [Avenue] home, Sonni told me that she did not believe in marriage and only wanted Jeremy to marry her so that she could become a United States citizen and avoid returning to Canada,” Winters said, according to court documents. “I heard Sonni say at least five or six times when we were together at the Franklin house that Jeremy should be nice to her and not fight her on green card or money issues or else she would release intimate videos of him to TMZ,” he continued.

Winters also alleged he saw Pacheco “regularly smoke cigarette and drink alcohol” while she was pregnant. Per legal docs obtained by TMZ, Pacheco denied Winters’ allegations of substance abuse, however, she curiously did not address his extortion claim.

Jeremy Renner is in a nasty custody battle

Jeremy Renner is currently playing his best role yet. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the star admitted that becoming a father kind of messed up his career because it’s all he really cares about. “She’s like number one in my life, and then now I get to do movies on the side. Daddy’s my best role to date, I think,” he said. Of course, since it’s Renner, the new gig couldn’t possibly come without controversy.

According to TMZ, Renner is embroiled in a new nasty custody battle with his ex-wife. The pair’s originally agreed-upon joint custody arrangement for their daughter Ava went out the window when Pacheco allegedly tried to walk back on their deal. In September 2019, she filed for sole custody with monitored visitation rights for her ex. In the past, she’s claimed his gun collection (which didn’t contain a bow and arrow despite the fact that he’s Hawkeye) put Ava at risk. In response, Renner asked the courts for the same thing, according to TMZ. He claimed that he should have sole custody and Pacheco should only have monitored visitation rights. – Source
