Why Priyanka Chopra Wasn’t With Nick Jonas at His ‘Jumanji’ Premiere

Nick Jonas had a big night in his acting career yesterday, attending the premiere of Jumanji: The Next Level with his brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas in Hollywood. His wife Priyanka Chopra was far away, in India. Nick detailed to Entertainment Tonight why she skipped his premiere.

“She’s in India right now, shooting a movie there, although she’s jealous because she loves Jumanji,” he said. “She loved the last one. And she really wanted to be here, but she’s got work.”

He also spoke about how the two cope with long distance in their marriage, since Priyanka and Nick’s work as an actress and touring musician, respectively, does separate them geographically regularly. “It’s been almost four and half months on the road, and it’s been, you know, interesting,” he started. “But we have an incredibly beautiful balance in our lives and kind of an understanding of our priorities.
