New Light

While doing press for a new movie, this permanent A list mostly movie actor sat down for what is probably his longest interview ever.

What was going to just be a long piece in a monthly magazine may turn out to be a book or a limited series. The actor finally opened up about his past and laid out a series of points as to why he thinks one of his exes was killed.

He also told the reporter, who wouldn’t share the final answer (saving it for article/book/show??), who he suspects murdered his ex.

The thing is though, the reporter did say it is not the guess you would expect.

I guess I would expect the alliterate drug using horrible person/singer.

Was it the former girlfriend who was suddenly the girlfriend right after the death.

That same girlfriend who was bff with the actress significant other of the alliterate drug using horrible person/singer.

If you believe the story of the alliterate drug using horrible person/singer, why would the ex come back?

Did someone ask her to come back?

Did someone tell her to come back.

Someone who knew what a likely result would be.

Permanent A list mostly movie actor: Keanu Reeves

Dead ex: Jennifer Syme

Alliterate drug using horrible person/singer: Marilyn Manson

Former girlfriend: Dita Von Teese

Article: Keanu Reeves: ‘Grief and loss are things that don’t ever go away’

“Hey, I’m Keanu,” he says to introduce himself – unnecessarily, of course, yet very Keanuishly. Despite being so famous his surname has long been superfluous, Keanu Reeves has always given the impression of being utterly unaffected by his celebrity.

He is regularly described by his costars as kind (Winona Ryder) and humble (Laurence Fishburne), and it is easier to imagine him walking on the moon than knocking back champagne with other celebrities on a yacht in St Barts. After all, the most famous paparazzi photo ever taken of Reeves was of him sitting alone on a bench, eating a sandwich out of a plastic bag. Hard to imagine Leonardo DiCaprio doing that.

“I’ll sit anywhere you want me to. This okay?” he says, taking a chair and offering me the sofa in the London hotel room where we meet. At 186cm, or 6ft 1in, he is taller than I expected – also unusual for an actor – and dressed in a very Keanu outfit of dark shirt and trousers with sturdy boots.

Listening to the tape of our interview later is not an edifying experience, as I hear myself – Oh, dear God – flirt with Reeves (because, clearly, a heavily pregnant mother of two is the dream woman he’s been waiting for). Happily, my mortifying giggling soon abates, thanks to Reeves’s management of a situation he has presumably had to deal with every day of his life for more than three decades. And, as he does, I get an insight into what it takes to be Keanu Reeves.- Source
