Lady Gaga Is ‘Pregnant’ With New Album

Lady Gaga has shut down rumors that she’s expecting a child by revealing that she has a new album on the way. In a tweet, the singer confirmed that she is at work on her sixth album. “Rumors I’m pregnant?” she wrote on Twitter. “Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6.” The “LG6” is, of course, in reference to “Lady Gaga 6,” the highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Joanne.

The pregnancy rumors started after Gaga split with fiance Christian Carino and fans began to speculate that she was actually in love with A Star Is Born collaborator Bradley Cooper. Lady Gaga previously addressed the reports that she and Cooper were in a relationship on Jimmy Kimmel Live following the Oscars, where she won for Best Original Song for “Shallow.” The duo performed an intimate rendition of “Shallow” during the awards broadcast, prompting speculation that their love was for real. “First of all… social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it’s done to pop culture is abysmal,” Gaga told Kimmel in response to the gossip. “People saw love and, guess what, that’s what we wanted to you to see.
