Demi Lovato’s Backup Dancer Says She Has ‘Nothing But Love’ For Her: ‘She Means the World to Me’ – 2018

Demi Lovato’s inner circle has mostly been quiet since reports of the singer’s suspected overdose last week. But on Sunday (July 29), her longtime backup dancer and friend Dani Vitale posted an emotional message to Lovatics.

“I care about Demi just like all of you do,” Vitale wrote. “I have not said anything about this situation until now because her recovery has been of the most importance. I was not with Demi when the incident happened, but I am with her now, and will continue to be because she means the world to me just as she does to all of you.”

Lovato was hospitalized on July 24 following an apparent narcotics overdose. She has been public about her struggles with addiction and recently revealed to her fans that her sober journey had come to an end when she released the moving ballad “Sober.” In the song, Lovato laments, “Momma, I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore. Daddy, please forgive me for the spilled drinks on the floor. The ones who never left me, we’ve been down this road before. I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore.”- Source
