Nicki Minaj Flies To China For A Scam Show

It looks like Nicki Minaj has been played.

The Queens rapper boarded a plane all the way to Asia last weekend, for a show that was never booked.

According to local reports, Nicki was slated to perform at Djakarta Warehouse Project, an annual festival that usually takes place in Bali, Indonesia.

But scammers used the festival’s name to bilk Nicki Minaj and her fans.

DWP issued a statement revealing the use of their brand was “unauthorized,” which popped up on the festival’s website just days before the slated November 17 and 18 dates.

It reads: “The event rumored to take place in Shanghai on 17th & 18th of November 2018 is an unauthorized use of DWP trademark. DWP as a brand, has no association with the event.”

While Nicki has yet to issue a public statement, a video popped up on the internet of her being a good sport about the ordeal.

She told her real fans in Asia that she loves them and will be back “with a better partner.” – Source
