Blac Chyna criticized for $950 FaceTime calls, $250 Instagram follows

Blac Chyna has found a new side hustle.

The 31-year-old Lashed Cosmetics owner and former “Rob & Chyna” reality star is charging $950 for a virtual chat with her on FaceTime and $250 to follow a fan back on Instagram, both via her business’s website.

Fans who are unable to pay the cash upfront have the option of doing so with four interest-free installments. Naturally, Chyna, who is in an ongoing custody battle with ex Rob Kardashian, is being called out for her newfound business venture.

“This women has officially hit rock bottom …. @BLACCHYNA is selling a follow back for $250 and a FaceTime call for $950.. and there’s payment plan available,” one person wrote on Twitter. “You can’t make this s—t up.”

“Blac Chyna out here selling follow backs,” noted a fan. “Can’t knock the hustle tho.”

Others shamed her for charging such steep prices amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“Why @BLACCHYNA out here selling follow backs and FaceTimes w/ her for mad money? Have you seen how high unemployment is right now?” another tweeted.

“Blac Chyna selling a follow back on ig for $250 face during a f—g world crises like bad timing lol,” wrote another follower.

“Like the true entrepreneur she is, Chyna is adapting to current realities and trying to bring more fun and joy to quarantine life,” Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, told Page Six. “Chyna’s quarantine-related creativity is also born out of economic necessity. Despite many false media reports to the contrary, Chyna receives no child support from either Rob Kardashian or Tyga … Chyna is truly a self-made single mom who must keep finding unique ways to connect with her fans during this unprecedented global pandemic.” – Source
