Ryan Murphy, David Miller Pledge $10 Million to Children’s Hospital LA

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has announced a $10 million gift from Emmy Award-winning television show creator Ryan Murphy and his husband, photographer David Miller.

In an Instagram post, Murphy wrote that two years ago their younger son, Ford, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of pediatric cancer. After “a huge surgery and several difficult procedures,” he is thriving and recently celebrated his fourth birthday. “Today at the hospital we are donating a wing in tribute to Ford, and our family is making a gift of $10 million so that other children can experience the love and care of this exceptional facility….We are so honored and lucky to contribute and encourage everybody who can to do the same.” – Source
