Sarah Jessica Parker Still Can’t Imagine Sex and the City 3 Without Kim Cattrall

The saga continues. Sex and the City has been dormant for almost a decade, ever since the second film strutted into theaters in 2010—but two of its stars, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall, have continued to make headlines with a feud that, by Parker’s account, does not exist. And on Wednesday, Parker tried, once again, to take a positive tack when it comes to Cattrall while responding to a fan’s comment on Instagram.

Cattrall has said multiple times that she will not participate in a third Sex and the City film, despite fans clamoring for another installment. Over the past several months, the actress has repeatedly insisted that Parker “could have been nicer” during their time together as co-stars. (Their feud has been grist for the rumor mill for years; Cattrall was reportedly incensed when she found out the pay discrepancy between Parker and the rest of the show’s core ensemble.) Through it all, Parker has insisted that there is not, and has never been, any beef between her and her co-star. On Instagram Wednesday, Parker continued that campaign when a fan suggested Sex and the City either replace or write Cattrall out of a potential third film. Parker responded by saying, “Not sure if I can imagine doing another movie without her. X.” – Source
