The manager has not yet made any statements about the recent source of funding of a transaction, but he did make sure he got some positive publicity by leaking to the world that he helped out the female A list singer he manages.

Ariana Grande finally gets her Grammy (five months late!) from manager Scooter Braun

You like her Grammy? Gee thanks, she just got it.

Five months after the Grammy Awards, Ariana Grande, who skipped out on the ceremony, took to Instagram Tuesday to show off her new trophy.

“really glad i checked the mail,” she wrote.

Grande won Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2018 record “Sweetener” back in February, but passed on attending the awards ceremony after clashing with Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich.

Pushing back against Ehrlich’s claim that the singer “felt it was too late for her to pull something together” for the show, Grande tweeted the producer had kept her from performing the songs she wanted to sing.

“i offered 3 different songs,” she tweeted in February. “it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics… it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend.”

Although Grande joked she received the award via snail mail, the 26-year-old’s manager Scooter Braun wrote on Instagram he delivered it himself, posting a photo with Grande and the trophy.

“This right here is family,” he wrote. “I couldn’t have been prouder this week to deliver this one her very first Grammy.” – Source
