An inside look at the A- list reality star with a side gig’s empire.

Yes, the revenues increased in 2018, HOWEVER the cost of acquisition was way more than the revenue generated.

They are trying to keep revenue numbers high so they can get someone to buy their crap product.

The original product was good but that was just a huge markup on an existing already good product with a name slapped on that differed from the manufacturer. The other stuff is crap and people don’t come back which is why to increase revenue you have to spend so much.

Oh, and that nonsense about social media posting.

It is an algorithm, not an actual number that is paid.

If it was an actual number paid, there would be nothing but paid postings 24/7 for a week and then we would never hear from the family again.

Here’s the Real Story Behind the Kylie Cosmetics and ColourPop Controversy

The matte lipsticks sold by ColourPop Cosmetics are celebrated as the most affordable, pigmented and longwearing lip lacquers in the beauty biz

However, the e-commerce brand has a mysterious backstory. Their products were celebrated by beauty vloggers everywhere, but no one seemed to be able to pinpoint where exactly the brand came from. Who were the creatives behind the wide range of colors and fun shade names?

Conspiracy theories and controversial claims about the brand’s origins began to appear on social media

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner klan decided to branch out and create her own version of the beauty brand

So, are ColourPop and Kylie products really just one in the same? Are the companies actually owned by the Illuminati? It’s time to put the rumors to rest.

In an exclusive interview with Refinery29, the ColourPop founders came out from behind the curtain and came clean about their connection to the reality TV royal. The background on the company is surprisingly similar to how Kylie acquired her business connections. Laura and John Nelson were born into the business of beauty. Their father bought Spatz Laboratories — which manufactures all of the Kylie Cosmetics products — in 1989. It functioned as the hub of creation for both big beauty brands and private-label products and still is, but two years ago, something changed.

The duo created Seed Beauty, which operates as an umbrella company, thus letting them have control of both the creative and logistical sides of their products. Social media made ColourPop a huge success for Seed, but their next venture blew that out of the water.

Kylie Jenner was brought into the Seed family as part of what Laura and John called an “incubation program.” Kylie was able to have complete creative control of her product, but make use of Spatz Labs and the company’s existing resources.

So yes, ColourPop and Kylie Cosmetics are sister companies, but you’re technically not wasting your money on those lip kits.- Source

Kylie Jenner Posts – and Quickly Deletes – Video of Jaclyn Hill’s Lipsticks amid Scandal

Kylie Jenner may have accidentally gotten into the middle of the drama surrounding YouTube beauty guru Jaclyn Hill’s lipsticks without even realizing it.

After customers began accusing Hill’s newly-launched cosmetics company, Jaclyn Cosmetics, of selling lipsticks with black holes, lumps and hair-like fibers, Jenner, 21, posted a video opening the PR box saying she couldn’t wait to try them (seemingly unaware of the controversy).

“Also, can’t wait to try these,” Jenner said as she opened the package from Hill, 28. “This PR box is magical.”

Hill’s lipsticks sold out mere hours after launching on May 30, but once fans started receiving their purchases in the mail, many reported that their bullets looked less-than-stellar.

Fellow YouTube beauty star known as RawBeautyKristi posted a photo of one of the Jaclyn Cosmetics lipsticks she ordered that showed tiny hair fibers coming out of the bullet. “All I can say is WTF,” Kristi tweeted.

Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics sales fall 14% as gloss dims

Kylie Jenner’s beauty empire might be in need of a makeover.

Kylie Cosmetics, the 3-year-old makeup company founded by the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, is seeing sales sag as a majority of customers who have tried it once in recent months have not returned, according to an explosive new report obtained by The Post.

The privately held company, which is reportedly in discussions with Coty Inc. to acquire a majority stake for $600 million, has seen its sales decline 14% this year through May, according to Rakuten Intelligence.

Revenues peaked in November 2016, one year after the first product was launched, but two years later, in November 2018, revenues were down by 62%, according to Rakuten, which tracks online purchases.- Source
