Celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay is facing backlash after terminating over 500 contracts overnight. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, it was announced that Gordon’s restaurants will temporarily close. Now, workers are speaking out in anger over the abrupt decision whilst Ramsay stays silent.

Celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay recently took action and closed his line of restaurants due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. During a meeting, employees working at Ramsay’s restaurants were given the bad news. One of those workers spoke directly to The Metro, saying: “We had a meeting on Friday in Heddon Street Kitchen where they’ve told us that our contracts [were] terminated.
They said that because of the situation they have to close the restaurants and terminate all our contracts.”

The source also added that Gordon never spoke to any of the employees directly. “He just sent one of his directors who was affected (emotionally) by the situation as well,” they added. – Source
