Racist Remarks posted by Camila Cabello against Normani resurfaces!!! Cabello apologizes for calling her the N-word!!!

Today is the world of modern technology where nothing remains hidden. The same is the case with the singer Camila Cabello. She has shared a racist post on Tumblr when she was 15 years old. And the post again resurfaced on social media in December 2019.

The post was shared by her on Tumblr in 2012. The post contained racist languages and images. The post was discovered by a Twitter user in December 2019 and shared the link to the singer’s old Tumblr page. The twitter user who shared the post was @motivatefenty.

The posts were under the username vous-etes-belle. The twitter user shared several posts of the singer which contained various memes and gifs perpetuating Asian and black stereotypes and also memes with the N-word. Later on, the post was taken down after it was retweeted more than 20,000 times.

The singer apologized on Twitter for her racist remarks. She stated that when she was younger, she used language for which she is deeply ashamed of and forever will regret that. She was ashamed for being uneducated and ignorant and she also became aware of the weight and history and true meaning behind this hurtful and horrible language. She apologized for using the language. Now she is grown up and adult and she is aware of the pain this carries.

She went on saying, “Those mistakes don’t represent the person I am or a person I’ve ever been to. I only stand and have ever stood for love and inclusivity, and my heart has never, even then, had an ounce of hate or divisiveness. The truth is I was embarrassingly ignorant and unaware.” – Source
