Apparently this back in the day A+/A list mostly movie actor turned serial A- list mostly television actor is not very well liked by his former co-stars and don’t want him pressuring everyone for his role back.

West Wing star Richard Schiff claims potential reboot is ‘top secret’ as Aaron Sorkin teases show’s return

‘I cannot confirm that at this time, no comment,’ he told TMZ’s waiting paps in Alexandria, Virginia, on Saturday.

‘I am not allowed to speak… No, top secret.’

Schiff played Communications Director Toby Ziegler in the long-running acclaimed political drama and although we’d love to believe his answers reveal he has been in talks with show creator Sorkin, they could instead have been a subtle nod to the phrasing used by Ziegler when press approached him and he didn’t want to answer.

Sorkin was apparently told he could have as many episodes as he wanted and could chose a new cast or ask back original cast members, including Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, Rob Lowe, Bradley Whitford, and Schiff.- Source
