LAPD Investigating Ex-APA Agent Tyler Grasham Accused of Sodomy

The Los Angeles Police Department has launched an investigation into Tyler Grasham after actor Tyler Cornell filed a police report against the former APA agent, Variety has confirmed.

An LAPD spokesperson said authorities took a report against Grasham regarding an incident that occurred in early 2017.

“A sodomy crime [report] was taken against Tyler Grasham,” Officer Irma Mota said.

Cornell’s rep confirmed that the actor filed a report with the LAPD. His acting credits include Funny or Die’s “Tales of Titans” and Disney Channel’s “Bizaardvark.”

Grasham was fired from APA more than a week ago after numerous men accused him of sexual abuse. Blaise Godbe Lipman sparked the flood of accusations with an amendment to a #MeToo Facebook post on the Tuesday before Grasham’s ouster.

Last Monday, Lipman recounted being sexually assaulted as a teenager by an anonymous abuser. A day later, he took to Facebook again, writing that after his initial post, his abuser had sent him a “poke” message on Facebook. Lipman wrote, “We haven’t had any correspondence in a decade, and aren’t friends on FB, yet today, out of the blue, he ‘pokes’ me. He must have been made aware of the post by one of our many mutuals. Was his poke passive aggressive? An abuser making himself known, a quiet threat? An admission of guilt with a smirky, ‘just try me’? I don’t know and I don’t care. It felt gross. And it was the tipping point that made me me want to open up in a real frank way. His name is Tyler Grasham, an agent at APA Agency.” – Source
